Get expert support

Providing entrepreneurs with initial support is one of the core missions of Wirtschaftsförderung Leverkusen. To ensure that the entrepreneurial venture really gets going after its founding, it can’t hurt to get some expert support. In addition to the WFL’s usual start-up advice, partners based in Leverkusen offer their support in the voucher booklet.

  • How does my business concept sound to a management consultant?
  • Which legal form would the lawyer recommend?
  • What is a turnover tax advance return and what does the tax consultant advise for correct invoicing?
  • What first steps would an advertising agency recommend to ensure my company and I are known?
  • What tips does the lending institution have for me when it comes to a financing plan?

These questions and more will come up sooner or later for anyone starting a new business. By redeeming a total of five vouchers – one each for a management consultant, a lawyer, a tax consultant, an advertising agency and a lending institution – the founder receives a free, 60-minute initial consultation or can attend a tax consulting workshop.

How to Get Your Start-up Guide

Step 1: Answer all the questions in our application form.

Step 2: Describe your idea and your current planning status. There are two options:

Option A: You already have a business plan. Submit it to WFL Wirtschaftsförderung Leverkusen and use it to convince us of your start-up project.

Option B: Your idea is already well developed. The business plan exists in rough form, but it’s not fully polished yet.
Convince us of your idea by submitting your initial concept along with a meaningful first description of your project.

Step 3: We will contact you by phone and you will answer our questions.

Step 4: Have you convinced us? Then you will receive your personal voucher booklet, along with further information on how to use it.

Please note: Taking the step into self-employment is challenging and not without risks. Starting a business requires thorough preparation, sufficient qualifications, high personal commitment, and a viable business concept. If we deem a plan or a person’s suitability for the upcoming tasks insufficient, we will not issue a voucher booklet. However, in such cases, we will provide personal feedback and valuable advice.

The voucher booklet is a voluntary offer provided by WFL Wirtschaftsförderung Leverkusen GmbH and its partners. There is no legal entitlement to it.
